Kids Workshops at Garden City

Interested in knowing more about how you can recycle right at home?

Or would you like to bring your kids along to take part in our free, fun recycling workshops?

In August the Recycle Right team, in partnership with the City of Melville, will be at Garden City shopping centre to promote recycling and sustainable living.

Kids (and adults too) can learn to make an origami seed pot to take home and plant.

You can also bring along your old batteries, VHS tapes, CDs and DVDs to deposit in our recycling station.

Community Engagement Officer Chloë Rothery said the Recycle Right team were looking forward to meeting the community and encouraging them to embrace sustainable living.

“Most people are already doing a great job of recycling at home, but there’s always something that can be done better to help our long suffering environment,” Mrs Rothery said.

You can find the Recycle Right workshop at Garden City in the Western Mall near Australian Geographic.
