The City of Fremantle hosted the inaugural One Planet Anti-Conference on 23 and 24 September, bringing together sustainability ideas, issues and achievements from around the world. SMRC CEO Tim Youé was invited to speak on the zero waste topic ‘How can we make Western Australia the resource recovery epicentre of the world?’ Tim, along with other guest speakers Rebecca Brown (WALGA), Jake Hickey (Instant Waste) and Jenny Campbell (Encycle), discussed the challenges and achievements of waste management in the State.
