recycle right at perth royal show 2015

The Recycle Right marquee proved to be popular once again at the Perth Royal Show. Members of the Recycle Right team, volunteers from the Community Advisory Group (CAG) and Faerie Cara (pictured bottom left) facilitated a series of engaging and informative recycling activities for kids including origami seed pot making using soil from our compost partner Nutrarich. A presence at the show also provided an invaluable platform to answer questions about recycling and to promote waste reduction.

In addition, SMRC joined with other metro regional councils at a second site within the show to provide collaborative information about sustainability.
