The Recycle Right app is a simple and convenient way of finding out which bin to put it in. The detailed A–Z list of specific items tells you how to dispose of them properly. The ‘Find My Nearest’ function allows you to locate your closest recycling centre or drop-off point and get directions. Plus the helpful bin day reminder tool allows you to set reminders so that you never forget which bin goes out on what day for your area – no need to check which bins the neighbours have put out!

Recycle Right is the education arm of the Resource Recovery Group in Perth, Western Australia. Recycle Right educates our member Councils’ residents living in City of Melville, Town of East Fremantle and City of Fremantle along with residents in greater Western Australia about waste, recycling and sustainability.

Much of the information in the Recycle Right app is provided specifically for residents living in Recycle Right member councils (listed by name in the ‘My Council’ section of the app). While we list some of the more major waste facilities or drop-off centres in the Perth metro area, there is less detail for those areas that are not yet members. Residents outside our member areas are encouraged to contact their local council for information specific to their area or, better still, ask your council to join the Recycle Right Education Program to ensure all your recycling and waste information is available in the one place.
